I figured it was about time I gave you guys a long-overdue update. I've already told most people I'd expect to care, but for those of you who didn't know, college is over for me and, due to nothing more than my own lack of motivation, I failed.
At first, you may think this would be a massive disappointment for me, but to be honest, it only bothered me before it actually happened. I didn't start the music technology course looking for qualifications I did it to learn the skills necessary to succeed in a career in music (that's not necessarily to say the music industry itself).
After spending the last six years of my life in and out of various college courses, I've learned more useful skills and knowledge in these last two years than I did in all the other courses combined. My classmates have been the best, the facilities were unbelievable, and my lecturers were some of the most supportive and brilliant role models I've ever had the pleasure of being taught by. My only real regret at this stage is that, despite their support, I've let them down. If for any reason any of you happen to read this, I love you all and am sorry.
In any case, it's water under the bridge and I'm through with education. I'm tired of deadlines and catching up and generally feeling constantly like everything's slipping out of control. I'm just not cut out for college life and I'll be damned if I have it in me to survive university.
So, what's the plan now? Well, for the last month and a half, I've been working. Yep, I still have to wear a name badge to work, but dammit it's a job and with the current economic climate I feel bloody privileged to have one. Something I have felt like I've been missing out on throughout the music course is the ability to take on overtime. The bus journey from Oxford to Witney and back was costing me five Pounds every day, and only having two days a week to work has meant being more or less broke for the last two years. I'll be getting my first overtime-bloated paycheck on Friday. <3
Of course, more moneys and more free time for Snowy is going to mean more Snowy for the rest of you. I've been effectively inactive in the furry community for the last few years, but now I'm intending to actually afford to get out to furcons and maybe some meets to see you all.
As a final side note, I'm also interested in getting into airsoft, along with at least one friend of mine who's skirmished in the past. Can anyone recommend any good skirmishing sites in the south, midlands, or London area?

My Steam ID and TrackMania United Forever login is Snowy_Fox
My Battlefield 2 soldier name is Alopexus, though I'm yet to find a vanilla BF2 server I've enjoyed playing on. I prefer to play more personally with a couple of friends and a buttload of bots on a co-op server via Hamachi, or even better I favour and thoroughly recommend the BF2 mod Project Reality.
I play Battlefield 2142 under the soldier names Snowy_Fox (Recon) and Alopexus (Support)
I occasionally dabble in Dofus as Hyakugojyuuichi on Rosal server, and as Hyaku on Shika server

i forgot i even had this profile. *wanders off to look around the place*
