Everyone loves Skyrim. And, if they have it on PC, I think everyone should give modding it a go. It's so satisfying.

If you know me, you'll know I'll always try my hand at modding a game I love if its developers provide the ability to do so. And Bethesda never disappoint with their modding tools - the Creation Kit is one of the best I've ever used.

I have a couple of bigger mods in the works that may or may not get finished, but for shits and giggles, I've made a quickie that some of you may find fun. The Orce Horde Attacks adds a seventy-strong band of marauding orcs to the tundra of Whiterunhold. Starting about halfway between Rorikstead and Sleeping Tree Camp, the orcs wander across the plains until they reach Whiterun, where the guards are nervously awaiting their arrival.

THIS MOD IS DESIGNED FOR COCKING ABOUT ONLY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU PLUG THIS MOD INTO ONE OF YOUR MAIN SAVEGAMES. MAKE A BACKUP SAVE FIRST.
Furthermore, this mod crams a lot of actors into a small area. Even my computer, capable of running Battlefield 3 with all the settings cranked up to 11, struggles with these guys running around. You have been warned.

You can download the mod below. I recommend playing it with a character between level 20 (less if you're suicidal) and level 50 (more if you want the guards to rape the orcs, giggity).

HOW TO GET YE ORCS
For best results, save a game in or near Whiterun
Drop the ESP into your Data folder (steamapps/common/skyrim/Data)
Check that the plugin is ticked in the Data Files menu upon launching the game

It should take the orcs a few in-game hours to reach Whiterun. Either wait with the guards outside the city, or if you're feeling confident, travel west along the road to meet them single-handedly. After passing south of Fort Greymoor, leave the road and veer northeast. The orcs should come from about that direction, passing through Sleeping Tree Camp (map).

Note: I do not intend to work on this mod any further. It does what I originally intended it to do, and that's enough as far as I'm concerned. Any bugs you report or additions you suggest will be ignored - heck, I probably know of the bugs already. If you want to add more to it, better integrate it, or anything at all, go right ahead. As long as I'm credited, that's fine by me.

Online Gaming

The Minecraft server is all but dead, I'm afraid. I've decided to let it cycle out, until a day comes when my friends and I want to play it again.
